According to the medical community on the 22nd, Lee Jin-woo, president of the Korean Medical Association, sent a message to the society’s executives stating that he had made this decision to resolve the legislative situation.

Chairman Lee said in a message, “The Korean Medical Association has been strengthening its efforts by emphasizing a unified voice centered on the Korean Medical Association, but there has been no progress,” adding, “Dialogue is necessary even during the war. We discussed this in depth with the previous presidents. “After discussions at the steering committee, it was decided to participate together with KAMC in the ruling and opposition party council,” he said.

He added, “I am sorry for not being able to tell the directors in advance and discuss them individually,” and added, “I hope that you will understand and support this difficult decision to resolve the legislative situation.”

He said, “I would like to tell you once again that this decision was made after thinking about it hundreds, if not thousands of times, of the possibility that various criticisms and the medical society’s position may become difficult after this decision.” “I hope so,” he added.
