Patras: 2 men were arrested for drug possession and trafficking – One was allegedly involved in a robbery with a loot of 1 million euros

Two men were arrested, last night, in Patras, by police officers of the Narcotics Prosecution Department of the Patras Security Sub-Directorate, against whom a criminal case was filed, as the case may be, for drug trafficking and possession, as well as violation of the arms law.

How did they find them?

Specifically, the police officers of the Narcotics Prosecution Department of the Patras Security Sub-Directorate, using information, identified a man in Patras and during a police check they carried out on him, found in his possession and confiscated 1.1 grams of cannabis and 0.8 grams of cocaine, which had been procured by the other defendant, against the sum of 70 euros.

Then the police officers of the Patras Narcotics Prosecution Department located and arrested the accused (trafficker) outside his home and during a physical search they found in his possession and confiscated 1 mobile phone and 675 euros.

“Rich” past one

As tempo24.gr reports about the one arrested, this is a person who has been working as a porter lately, in a well-known club in Patras, while he has a “rich” past. The highlight is his alleged participation in a money transfer robbery in Dafni with a bulldozer and a loot of one million euros, in April 2009.

Among other things, according to the report, the man had a preference for so-called super cars, as he drove very expensive cars. One of them was reportedly driving at the time of his arrest.

In investigations carried out by the police in two houses of the accused trafficker, in Patras and in the area of ​​Patras, they found and confiscated:

  • 1 stun gun, with 1 magazine and 48 blank rounds
  • 1 silenced pistol and 1 magazine with 7 rounds
  • 1 tazer
  • 16.76 grams of cocaine
  • 1 gram of PINK cocaine
  • 3 precision electronic scales
  • 6 cartridges
  • 1 pair of handcuffs
  • 1 silicone face mask
  • 1 face mask, covering the mouth and nose
  • 1 pair of gloves
  • 3 hand tools
  • 4 spatulas and
  • 1 insulating tape

Those arrested will be taken to the District Attorney of Achaia, while the trafficker’s car was seized as a means of facilitating the trafficking of narcotics.
