Paul has no shortage of challengers after his win over Tyson. The British champion wants a match and insults his boyfriend – Combat sports / MMA

As if there was no interest in fights with him before, but Friday night in Dallas changed everything. Jake Paul showed that he is a solid boxer, but also that he is an even better businessman.

Jake Paul didn’t have much to do with Mike Tyson.

Together with colleagues from his production company, they organized a match that was a massive success.

So many people wanted to watch it that the otherwise reliable Netflix overloaded its servers and millions of fans could not watch it in sufficient quality.

Paul earned 40 million dollars, even defeated Mike Tyson left with a decent amount. And it is the amount for Paul’s opponent that is now tempting his challengers.

Boxers of various “sizes” contacted him, including Daniel Dubois (former IBF heavyweight champion), former MMA legend Conor McGregor, as well as Briton Carl Froch.

Froch is a former champion in super middleweight (73-76 kg), held the belts of the WBA and IBF organizations. He last stood in the ring during a superfight against compatriot George Groves in 2013, whom he knocked out in front of 80,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium.

The fight then brought in a record 25 million pounds ($32 million), roughly half of what Paul and Tyson “made”.

The big-mouthed Brit, who will celebrate his 48th birthday next year, has exchanged messages with Paul in the past, but Froch now snapped when he mentioned the American’s girlfriend.

She is the Dutch speed skater, four-time world champion and Olympic silver medalist from Beijing 2022 Jutta Leerdamová, who has been in a couple with the controversial YouTuber since last April.

“Listen Jake, I retired 11 years ago, I’m old, gray, out of shape. But I would still be able to give your girlfriend the best night of her life. She’s definitely dreaming of the right man… As for you, I’ll knock you out in the ring within 30 seconds, you’re incompetent,” wrote Froch on the social network.

Paul responded with a barrage of profanity and a message. “I’ve done more for boxing in four years than you have done in your entire career. If you want a job, you can wash my cars,” he said.

It is clear that there is interest in Paul. It is also certain that it will be the 27-year-old who will choose his next opponent.
