The American company was fined for unclear contract clauses that can leave consumers with blocked accounts.
Polish regulator UOKiK announced on Monday that it has fined the European subsidiary of US online payment company PayPal 106.6 million zlotys (25 million euros) over unclear contract clauses that could leave consumers with blocked accounts.
The company did not clearly describe to users the prohibited activities that can result in fines, nor did it tell them precisely what it can do in such cases, the regulator stated in the explanation of the fine.
