Pedophile arrested on Riga tram

An emotional post by a Riga woman about an outrageous incident in an Imanta tram was published in the Imanta Facebook group. In front of everyone, in public, an adult man was harassing a girl. Everyone pretended not to notice anything until a brave woman intervened. In the end, it turned out that the man was wanted – for the same thing…

“Good evening, dear parents, talk to your children so that if they are harassed on the street or in public transport, they are not afraid to ask other people for help.

So I’ll tell you the situation:

Today, my sisters and I were traveling from Imanta on tram number 1, we got on. A man came in (photo of the man is attached) sits down next to a girl (at first I didn’t know it was a girl, I didn’t really see her because of the seat) I hear how he starts to compliment her, then the sister who sees her tells me that there is a child sitting there, later we found out that the girl is 13 years old.

And then my sister sees a picture of a man, who is about 50 years old, starting to kiss her, and almost getting into his pants, my sister tells me that she has tears running down her face (I didn’t really see the girl, I only heard her) and then I jump up, ask the girl if everything is okay? – she only showed with her eyes that it wasn’t. She was in great shock.

Here I take the girl, call the police, the tram driver blocked the door so that he could not escape. And there were attempts, well, I dragged him back in time. While we were waiting for the police, I asked the girl, why didn’t you scream, to which the answer was that she was very afraid!

That’s why dear parents, talk to your children so that they are not afraid to call for help! And most importantly, there was a guy sitting in front of me, and he saw this whole picture and didn’t say a word!!!!!! A statement to the police has been written! A photo of the pedophile is attached! Take care of yourself and your children!!

Text addition: The police called and said that this was the pedophile they were looking for!!!”
