Figure skater Adelia Petrosyan said that she missed the competition in women’s single skating.
“I miss competition, I want one place to be on fire. It’s interesting when you make a mistake and you’re in trouble. And now… Maybe because of this, sometimes I have a weak point,” Petrosyan quotes as saying “Sport Express”.
She noted that pure box office results come from competition – it motivates.
On November 17, Petrosyan won the Russian Grand Prix in Moscow, scoring a total of 251.57 points.
In the free skate, she successfully landed a triple Axel and a quadruple toe loop.
Let us remind you that domestic figure skaters, short track skaters and speed skaters have been suspended from participation in international tournaments under the auspices of the ISU due to the situation in Ukraine since 2022.
It was previously reported that Petrosyan still hopes to get to the Olympics in 2026.
