The electrification recipe continues Peugeotprobably one of the brands with the most 100% electric proposals in its price list today, but which also offers options of various levels of hybrid, to satisfy customers in transition. To the team the 5008 is also addednow available to order, substantially derived from the 3008, starting with the electric version called E-5008.
Available for now is the engine with a single electric motor and a smaller battery. We therefore find a power of 210 hp, and capacity of 73 kWhfor a range of up to 502 km. For DC charging the car supports up to 160 kWnot too high a power, but with a fairly stable charging curve, which allows the transition from 20% to 80% in about 30 minutes, or about 100 km recovered in 10 minutes.
The price list as always is simplified with only two trim levels. For the variant Allure starts at 47,730 eurosThat they rise to 52,180 euros for the GT. Like E-3008, E-5008 is also covered by the Allure Care guarantee, for 8 years or 160,000 km on all components of the electric powertrain, including the battery.
For those who don’t want pure electric, but still want to be able to travel electric, there is the 5008 plug-in Hybridwith a 92 kW (125 hp) electric motor combined with a 150 hp petrol engine for a combined power of 195 hp. The 17.8 kWh battery allows a 100% electric driving range of up to 82 km. Here too two installations, Allure for 47,950 euros and GT for 52,400 euros.
Then there is the simpler electrification with the hybrid at 48 volts (here you can find our test on the 3008) with the now well-known 136 HP 3-cylinder petrol engineaided by an electric motor integrated into the e-DCS6 gearbox, which allows for fuel savings of around 15%. The prices in this case for the two trims are respectively 41,700 euros and 45,850 euros.
