Philips released a new Evnia gaming monitor with 4K resolution and MiniLED backlighting

The 32-inch novelty game monitor 32M2N6800M is divided into 1152 dimming zones, which guarantees a high-quality HDR color scheme.

Gaming monitors from Philips’ Evnia product family, which is a couple of years old, have been coming to the market at a steady pace, and now it’s the turn of the 32M2N6800M, which is a 32-inch IPS monitor with MiniLED backlighting divided into no fewer than 1152 separate dimming zones. The novelty is equipped with a 4K resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, a maximum refresh rate of 144 hertz and a DisplayHDR 1000 certificate, which means bright HDR gaming is guaranteed. The gray-to-gray response time of the screen is multiplied by one millisecond.

Other features of the 32M2N6800M include Ambiglow effect lighting on the back of the screen that matches the content on the screen – which can also be synchronized with the rest of the RGB lighting in the setup using the display’s Dynamic Lighting software – and the Stark ShadowBoost feature, which improves contrast and reduces blurring in dark parts of games. The novelty also includes the Smart Crosshair artificial intelligence sight, which changes its color according to the content of the screen to improve hit accuracy. On the interface side, the screen has one DisplayPort 1.4 connection and two HDMI 2.1 connections. There are three USB-A type connections, one of which supports power supply. Ergonomic adjustments include screen tilt, rotation and height adjustment.

Philips Evnia 32M2N6800M will still be available during July at a recommended price of 979 euros.
