A large white speedboat has been lying at the bottom of the bay in Split for two weeks.
The speedboat Jeanneau Merry Fisher sank right next to Prva voda beach in early September. The web portal Index states that it is a several-year-old vessel, worth around 70,000 euros, of course less if it is on the seabed. The eight-meter speedboat has room for 280 liters of fuel, which some residents fear could start to run out. Officials at the Split Port Authority believe that there is no danger of fuel leaking or that there is a risk of sea pollution. They are trying to get in touch with the owner.
