A CURS survey conducted between October 30 and November 5 gives Marcel Ciolacu first place in voting options. The PSD leader is followed, equally, by George Simion and Nicolae Ciucă.
Asked which candidate they will vote for in the first round of the presidential elections, 28% of respondents said Marcel Ciolacu (PSD), 17% – George Simion (AUR), 17% – Nicolae Ciucă (PNL), 12% – Elena Lasconi (USR) , 9% – Mircea Geoană (independent), 5% – Kelemen Hunor (UDMR), 5% – Cristian Diaconescu (independent), 4% – Cristian Terheș (PNCR) and 2% – Ludovic Orban (FD + PMP). 1% said they would vote for another candidate.
Asked which parties they will vote for in the parliamentary elections, 32% of respondents indicated PSD, 20% – PNL, 15% – AUR, 12% – USR, 6% – SOS Romania, 5% – UDMR, 4% – PNCR, 3% – The PMP – FD alliance, and 3% indicated another party.
The survey was conducted between October 30 and November 5, on 1,067 respondents, voters aged 18 and over.
Maximum margin of error for the entire sample: +/-3% at a 95% confidence level. Data collection method: face-to-face, at respondents’ homes.
