The electric completes the lineup
The range of Piaggio commercial vehicles is thus expanding with 2 new electric-powered variants on four wheels, designed to meet the demands of intra-city mobilitythanks to the combination of compact dimensions and load capacity of at least one ton and particularly high for its category.

The new range of electric Porters is produced in the Piaggio Group’s Italian factories in Pontedera and distributed in the main European countries through an ad network specialized in the sale and assistance of commercial vehicles.
Built around the Electric Drive Unit
The heart of the new Piaggio Porter NPE is the Electric Drive Unit (EDU), a single compact system which integrates the electric propulsion system, the inverter and the transmission components. A solution designed to obtain high performance and maximum efficiency, minimizing weight, size and number of components, also optimizing the electrical and cooling circuits. The system thus created guarantees high, constant and prolonged performance over time.

The electric propulsion system pushes Porter NPE up to one maximum speed of 90 km/hin line with city use missions. Likewise, the autonomy of over 250 km is what is required of a vehicle that wants to bring together and combine pure performance values such as the capacity, given the frame with side members, up to 1,055 kg, with reduced dimensions, agility and ease of use.

The new range of the electric Porter also includes solutions in the cybersecurity field, vehicle safety active and passive, including advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Which are also available on the eco-friendly bi-fuel thermal propulsion variants (petrol\methane and petrol\LPG) of the Porter.
