Compared to MSI’s previous Gaming Trio models, the appearance has been renewed very moderately based on the sales packaging.
Images of the sales packaging of MSI’s upcoming GeForce RTX 5080 Gaming Trio graphics card – more precisely, its OC model – have leaked online. The package features a graphics card equipped with a three-fan cooler, the design of which deviates very moderately from previous Gaming Trios. Connections The picture on the back of the package shows three DisplayPort 2.1 and one HDMI 2.1.
In practice, the already confirmed feature of the graphics card is at least 16 gigabytes of GDDR7 display memory with a 256-bit memory bus. In addition, the RTX 5080 is expected to be based on the GB203-400 graphics chip with 10752 CUDA cores and support the PCIe 5.0 standard. However, the additional features baked by MSI themselves seem to remain the same compared to the previous Gaming Trio models.
However, there will be no official confirmation of the leaks until next week, when NVIDIA’s new graphics cards will be released with feature listings in connection with CES 2025.
