If you remember, we covered microbes earlier, in Banjica. This time the show took us to Vračar, where the microbial company “Močno” is featured. Health was gushing out at every step, and Srđan, always plowing to gather some fruit of the past work of modern agricultural producers, chatted a few racks.
Milena Jovanović, co-owner and co-founder of Moćni, provided him with the chalabrc in question. Milena, before Srđan’s ramblings, explained how her husband and she came up with the idea of marketing microbials as a product. “What I need to emphasize,” began this bright startup entrepreneur, “is that these are not separate varieties. Microbial is only one stage in the life of a plant. So this radish you see here is the same as a radish as a mature, full-grown plant with fruits.”
Expertly, Milena first presented our and your Srđan what a radish looks like in a microstage. Since the motto – but not the rule – of the company “Mocno” is cute and short “a pinch a day”, Srdjan got his fingers busy. He did the chalabrchung radish, and then moved on to the sunflower and a few other plants.
Micro-herbs grown with a purpose
And what other plants does this lively married couple grow on their urban lawn? Well, there are sunflowers, broad beans, peas, flax, fenugreek (that is, Greek seeds…outside of Greece), and many others. Everything goes, of course, organically, and everything goes with a purpose. Namely, Milena and her husband want to share information about healthy eating with the world and promote the further cultivation of microbial crops in Serbs. That’s why they’re ready to launch workshops and their bespoke app for microherbivore networking.
In the break between meals, Srđan explained how this food can be consumed both with meals and on its own. Milena added that this kind of food is good for health at every opportunity, and even gave some culinary tips to the team and viewers of “Bolje zemlje”. We suggest you listen to them.
And we suggest that you go to YouTube kanal “Better countries” and find out all the information that we deliberately left out, just for you.
