During Monterey Car Week 2024, Automobili Pininfarina presented the Baptist Targamericaan electric hypercar that draws inspiration from the legendary Ferrari Testarossa Spider, created by Pininfarina to celebrate 20 years of presidency of Gianni Agnelli at Fiat in 1986. This homage is reflected in the body color Liquid Silver with details in Iconica Blu, recalling the elegance and simplicity of the original. The horizontal lines of the rear luggage compartment are a further tribute to the design of the Testarossa Spider.
A tailor-made artisan masterpiece
Commissioned by a renowned collector and current owner of a Battista, the Targamerica represents the first hypercar elettrica “coach-built” of Automobili Pininfarina. The year-long development process saw close collaboration between the customer and the design team, culminating in a vehicle that fully reflects the owner’s personality and interests. Among the customizations, a glass and aluminum cigar humidifier stands out, integrated between the seats, which lights up based on the selected driving mode.
Electrifying performance
Under the refined bodywork, the Battista Targamerica maintains the impressive technical specifications of the coupé version. Equipped with four independent electric motors powered by a 120 kWh battery, it delivers a total power of 1,900 HP and 2,340 Nm of torque. These features allow it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than two seconds and reach a top speed of over 300 km/h, placing it among the fastest cars in the world.
An exclusive debut at Monterey Car Week
The Battista Targamerica made its world debut at The QuailA Motorsport Gathering, durante la Monterey Car Week last August, attracting the attention of enthusiasts and collectors around the world. After the presentation, the unique example became part of one of the most prestigious private collections of high-performance cars.
