Pixel 9 Pro will include one year of Gemini Advanced

Less than a month separates us from the presentation of the Pixel 9 familyprobably the generation that has generated the most interest among the general public, in a clear sign that, generation after generation, Google is managing to attract more users (or, at least, potential users) and, probably as a result of this, also the one in which we are seeing a greater volume of leaks of all kinds: specifications, design, images and videos, prices…

In this regard, and although I obviously won’t name names out of discretion, in recent weeks I’ve attended several technology sector events for the media (presentations and press conferences), where I’ve met (logically, of course) quite a few colleagues from other media. And, compared to what I saw last year and previous years, I’ve not only seen more Pixel devices than ever, I’ve also had some conversations about them and it’s served to confirm that the evaluations are, in general, tremendously positive, to the point that I’ve heard from more people who, as in my case, have recommended Pixel smartphones to people in their personal circles if asked about it.

Given everything that has been leaked so far, it seems that they are two of the most notable aspects of the Pixel 9 generationOn the one hand, it seems that it will be composed of no less than five different models, each of them with their own storage capacity and color variants, and on the other, because of the number of functions based on artificial intelligence, including a well-made version of Recall, that we will find in them.

If yesterday we closed the day with an Android novelty detected by AssembleDebug, today we open it with another novelty signed by the same sourceand that is Pixel 9 Pro devices will include a one-year subscription to Gemini AdvancedThe investigation was made by analyzing the code of a beta version of the Google app, in which a text string was also found indicating that Pixel 9 (we understand that it refers to the base model, although it could also refer to the 9a) can obtain six months of free access to the service.

Thus, and only waiting for confirmation that the second generation of the foldable will also bear the Pro surname, it seems that the commitment to AI is intensifying even more than we expected in this new generation. And this, in addition, could be an explanation for the price increase that we anticipated a few days ago, since we remember that the price of Gemini Advanced is 21.99 euros per month (it does not offer an annual contract), so we are talking about an added value of 263.88 eurosin the case of the Pro models, and 131.94 euros for the base model, and perhaps also the 9a.
