What are these Google headphones?
The Pixel Buds Pro have a rather nice oval-shaped design. The earphones seem a little fragile at first glance, but their good design makes them robust models, despite some finishes that don’t really look premium. In terms of audio, the Buds Pro deliver a decent sound, without revolutionizing the world of headphones. The bass is ample, without overdoing it, and the mids are fair and provide a good balance. The dynamic range remains a little weak at times, but the whole is rather harmonious thanks to clear vocal timbres and easily identifiable instruments. The active noise reduction is also not up to par with what competitors offer, but does the job if you are not demanding.
Are the Pixel Buds Pro worth it for the sale?
Less than €150 for honest, quality headphones is a good deal. The Pixel Buds Pro use the Fast Pair protocol to connect via Bluetooth quickly. They can even pair with two devices simultaneously, and you can then switch from one to the other simply. The Pixel Buds app can help you find your headphones by making them emit a little ringtone. You will also find a very practical equalizer in the app.
A touch surface on the earbuds allows you to manage track playback, volume, ANC or Transparent mode. Finally, the headphones will last 7 hours of listening with noise reduction activated, and just over 10 hours with ANC deactivated. The charging case offers two additional charges.
