Poco is shutting down its website on December 31st, but what’s next?

For the lovers of the budget brand Poco, a small change is coming which at the same time is the beginning of a new era! More specifically, the definitive occurs shutdown for the official Poco website and this is expected to be implemented on 12/31/24. Of course this means we’ll have all sites in the po.co domain shut down—this includes the world wide web site ( /global ) as well as local sites (like /uk and /fr ). Don’t worry though, Poco isn’t going away completely. The company will host its products and services on the Xiaomi website.

It’s a surprise announcement to be fair, as Xiaomi has always emphasized the distinction between its brands – Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco.

There will be no disruption to our Poco experience, instead all customer support, product offers and existing services will be seamlessly transferred to the official Xiaomi websites ( mi.com/global ).

The transition starts on October 21 — next Monday — after which you won’t be able to make purchases on Poco’s website. Reward programs have not been forgotten either. Existing Poco points and reward points will be transferred and remain valid within the Xiaomi ecosystem. And existing coupons will also be reissued before December 12th.

Additionally, past orders, tracking information, and even user reviews from the Poco website will be migrated to the Xiaomi platform. Users will not need to take any extra steps. everything will be transferred automatically.

After the website is closed on December 31, trying to access it will automatically redirect you to the corresponding page on Xiaomi’s platform. Unfortunately, the standalone Poco Store app will not be part of the migration and will no longer be functional after the website is shut down.
