During the inspections between October 25 and November 3, the police focused in particular on compliance with the ban on the sale and serving of alcoholic beverages to children. They visited 1,255 establishments where alcohol and tobacco products are sold and checked 6,629 people.
In addition to almost 330 young people who had a positive breath test for alcohol, four also had a positive test for drugs, and the police found drugs in two people. At the same time, they discovered 538 misdemeanors and 13 crimes, most of which were related to alcohol and drugs.
“Preventive activities are an essential part of the ADAM event. We explain to pupils and students the legal framework for the use of alcohol or addictive substances and draw attention to the possible effects on everyday life.
