Turning point in the case of Pierina Paganelli. At dawn on Tuesday 16 July the police Louis Dassilva arrested on charges of homocide volunteer with multiple aggravated charges. According to what has emerged from the investigations, Dassilva had a relationship with Manuela Bianchi, wife of the son of Pierina Paganelli. The victim was reportedly on the verge of discovering this relationship.
An interrogation with Manuela Bianchi was scheduled for today, to delve deeper into the possible relationships that the woman may have had with Dassilva before the murder of her mother-in-law.
Doubts about Dassilva’s alibi
The investigators did not rely only on the motive to arrive at the arrest of Louis Dassilva, but also on several doubts regarding the man’s alibi for the day of the murder of Pierina Paganelli.
Dassilva has always maintained that he stayed at home, citing his access to the streaming platform as evidence. Netflix, which occurred during the hours in which Pierina Paganelli’s murder was supposed to have taken place.
According to the police, however, there would be access to the smartphone and the platform a gap of about 30 minutes, shortly after 10:00 p.m., which would correspond to the time needed to go down to the basement of the building and commit the murder.
Furthermore, the credibility of the alibi provided by Dassilva himself would be reduced by the video of a surveillance camera positioned in a street near the condominium, which would have filmed a person who could correspond to the defendant.
