Post metal giants Amenra at the beginning of May in Boogaloo, ticket sales have started

After almost three years and a fantastic concert in Močvara, the Belgian post metal giants Amenra they return to Zagrebmore precisely in Bugaboo. On the wings of the new album “Skunk”, which saw the light of day at the beginning of February, they will once again show why they have the reputation of a band whose performances are simply not to be missed. The date to write in the calendars with a crayon is May 2 (Friday).

Amenra was founded in 1999 in Kortrijk by vocalist Colin van Eeckhout, guitarist Mathieu Vandekerckhove and ex-bassist Kristof Mondi who left the hardcore punk band Spineless, and today the band also consists of drummer Bjorn Lebon, guitarist Lennart Bossu and bassist Tim De Gieter. In their very rich and fruitful career, they released six studio albums, dozens of EPs, splits, compilations, and even the book “Church of Ra”.
Their style can be described as a combination of doom, sludge, hardcore, and at live concerts the visualizations that accompany their music play an important role, which the audience in Močvara could very well see for themselves. As important role models, they point out the legendary band Neurosis, for whose publishing house Neurot Records they released the album Mass V. They founded the band collective Church of Ra in 2005, where they are joined by other notable representatives
Wiegedood, Oathbreaker i The Black Heart Rebellion.

Tickets at the early bird price of 28 euros can be purchased online through Hangtime ticketing, a
soon also in the Dirty Old Shop. Their presale price is 32 euros, while on the day, if
those left, cost 35 euros. This is their only concert in the ex-Yu region.
