The company presented four series and nineteen models, and the palette stretches from 550 watt Bronze to 1650 watt Titanium.
We understand the day when ASRock also enters the power supply marketand the manufacturer is not short-selling, because – as we mentioned in our introduction – it starts the fair right away with four product lines.
The top category is represented by the 1,300 and 1,650 watt, fully modular beasts of the Taichi series capable of 80 Plus Titanium efficiency, which comply with the ATX 3.1 standard like their brand counterparts. The electronics of the construction, equipped with Japanese capacitors, were equipped with OPP, OTP, OCP, OVP, SCP, and UVP protections, and in addition to Cybenetics Titanium, they earned the Cybenetics Lambda A+ certification. A 135 mm (fluid bearing) fan took on the task of cooling, whose semi-passive operation up to 40 percent load can be activated with the two-position switch located at the back.
The 180 x 150 x 86 mm novelties are equipped with an NTC sensor, which monitors the temperature of the VGA connectors and ensures that a fire hazard situation does not arise. The wiring is partially stocked and partially braided, while the number of native 12V-2×6 plugs is two, and the 5-volt branch can be turbocharged with 200 millivolts using the “5V Boost” switch. The 12-volt branch promises to deliver 108.3 or 137.5 amps, depending on power, and comes with a 10-year warranty, just like most of their relatives below.
The Phantom Gaming series solutions come with capacities of 750, 850, 1000, 1300, and 1600 watts, and their structure is not much different from Taichik, the difference is mainly to be found in the fact that “only” 80 Plus Gold, Cybenetics Platinum, and Cybenetics Lambda A plecsniks they got The three more modest versions have a single 12V-2×6 connector and physical dimensions of 150 x 150 x 86 mm, while their 12-volt branches promise future owners 62.5, 70.8, and 83.3 amps.
The Steel Legend family, which also measures 150 x 150 x 86 mm and features 80 Plus Gold and Cybenetics Platinum validations, is produced in 650, 750, 850, and 1000 watt versions, and the latter two variants can also be chosen in white in addition to black. There are no differences compared to the previous ones in terms of the protections or baffles used, but we can say goodbye to the NTC sensor and the cables are simply flat. The 1 kilowatt model carries the Cybenetics Lambda A badge on its box, but its smaller siblings remain at the Cybenetics Lambda A+ level.
The list of newcomers is rounded off by the entry-level Challenger power supplies delivered with a fixed cable bundle, which can be bagged with two efficiencies and use Taiwanese capacitors, accompanied by a 120 mm wind machine. The 80 Plus Bronze models want to impress in 550, 650, and 750 watt packages, however, the 80 Plus Gold plaquette members of the series offer 650, 750, and 850 watt performance.

The former group of goods measuring 140 x 150 x 86 mm corresponds to the ATX 2.52 standard, and the 550 watt edition does not come with a 12V-2×6 interface, but the 5V Boost function is still not missing, although it is not possible to shoot. The “golden” versions return to ATX 3.1 territory, but we have to make do with two 6+2-pin PCI Express connectors at the weakest 650-watt level if our graphics controller is to be driven. The length of the warranty is 5 years.
