TV presenter and journalist Vladimir Pozner gave his first interview in several years. In it, he explained where he disappeared to after the start of the SVO.
“I just decided for myself that the situation is such that it’s better for me to abstain for now,” Pozner noted, adding that he is 90 years old, and at this age people are usually long retired. “Well, I’m sort of retired,” the journalist noted, excerpts from the interview are quoted by “Gazeta.Ru».
The journalist also said that Western TV channels invited him to work, but he refused because they put forward unacceptable conditions.
“And the condition is this: ‘you must first speak out about (Russian leader Vladimir – ed.) Putin and regarding politics,” and in a certain way,” Pozner explained and added that he answered them that “this is not journalism, this is something completely different,” after which he thanked them and declined the offers.
The TV presenter also said that over the past two years he has been writing a book and filming a large eight-part film about Turkey.
