Predrag was the first Serb to paint a mural on the famous “Le Mur Reims”
The muralist, Predrag Radovanović – Pedja Te8, achieved significant artistic recognition by becoming the first Serb to paint a mural in the French city of Reims on the renowned concept “Le Mur Reims”.
Inspired by the rich tradition of Pirot carpets, Pedja Te8 combined contemporary urban art with Serbian cultural heritage with this artistic intervention, conveying a unique story about Serbia and its traditions to the heart of France.
The mural, which dominates the public space of Rems, represents a combination of modern artistic expression and deep-rooted motifs of the Pirot carpet, a recognizable symbol of Serbian cultural heritage. Through this work, the French audience got a rare opportunity to get acquainted with the unique value of the contemporary art scene in Serbia, which achieved an important promotion of Serbian culture on the international stage.
Pedja Te8, known for its innovation in urban art, on this occasion highlights the importance of contemporary art forms in the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage.
This achievement is not only an artistic endeavor but also an important step in strengthening cultural ties between Serbia and France, opening the door for further cooperation and new projects that are in preparation.
