Ravensburger, the award-winning publisher of games, puzzles and toys, announced the new Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game (TCG) set, Azurite Sea, today during its latest Lorecast event.
Azurite Sea, the sixth set in the wildly popular Disney LorcanaTCG, will be released in local game stores, Disney Stores and Disney Parks on November 15, 2024, followed by retail and DisneyStore.com on November 25, 2024.
Glimpses of pirates and inventors from across the Disney library take center stage in Azurite Sea as the Illumineers set sail as part of their quest to repair The Great Illuminary. Helping navigate the Azurite Sea are characters from Disney’s Big Hero 6 in the Disney Locana TCG for the first time, including Baymax, Hiro Hamada, Honey Lemon, Wasabi, Go Go Tomago and Fred. The beloved characters Chip and Dale, Gadget Hackwrench, Monterey Jack and Zipper from the Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers also make their debut in the new set. All cards in Azurite Sea can be used to update existing Disney Lorcana TCG decks and are playable with all the previously released sets: The First Chapter, Rise of the Floodborn, Into the Inklands, Ursula’s Return, and Shimmering Skies.

Repairs to the damaged Great Illuminary are still not complete after Shimmering Skies, so the Illumineers embark on an expedition to save it. Together with their seafaring glimmers, the Illumineers set sail on the dangerous Azurite Sea to find the owner of the hidden ink launcher discovered in Ursula’s Return. They can only hope to find a more experienced Illumineer, one who can teach them the valuable skills that can help repair the Great Illuminary. Their only clue in this quest is a mysterious owl symbol engraved on the bottom of the hidden ink jet that matches a symbol that appears on maps of the Azurit Sea. Meanwhile, Jafar, still determined to rule the realm, searches for the other half of the mighty Hexwell Crown.
The Disney Lorcana TCG set Azurite Sea includes two starter decks with combinations of Ruby/Amber or Sapphire/Emerald, booster packs with extra cards, Illumineer’s Trove, and a new Stitch-themed gift set. The new accessories include two play mats featuring Elsa – The Fifth Spirit from Disney’s Frozen and Donald Duck – Buccaneer. New card pockets and card boxes feature Scar – Vengeful Lion from Disney’s The Lion King and Winnie the Pooh – Hunny Wizard from Disney’s Winnie the Pooh.
During D23, the Disney Lorcana team shared information about the upcoming North American and European Challenge Championship events:
