The business of Austrotherm doo is largely based on the sale of products through a branched network of distributors in Serbia – dealers in construction materials. However, from year to year the engineering profession (architects / designers, but also civil engineers) is becoming more and more important for Austrotherm doo, not only because the orientation of the company is such that it non-stop strives to enrich its own reference list, through the distribution and installation of its products in representative construction facilities in Serbia, regardless of whether they are residential, commercial, combined or industrial facilities.

Last year, in 2023, presentations were held for the engineering profession in Belgrade and Niš, and this spring in Novi Sad.
The content of those presentations is fully adapted to the engineering profession and deals with many details that are directly related to physical and technical characteristics. thermal insulation products of the brand “Austrotherm”as well as the details of their correct application and installation in different positions of a construction object.
This fall, it was the turn of Kragujevacas the fourth largest city in Serbia and the center of the Šumadija region.
About twenty selected engineers from Kragujevac and the region are in a representative facility within Kragujevac’s modern business complex “MIND Park” attended a three-hour presentation that was composed of three parts – a brief presentation of the company and the international group to which Austrotherm doo belongs, then a general part, i.e. presentation of the production and distribution range of products, and finally, for the designers, the most interesting and comprehensive part dedicated to flat roofs and their thermal insulationwith the use of XPS and/or EPS, depending on the type of flat roof determined by the project documentation.

Special emphasis is also placed on possibilities formation of a fall layer on a flat roof, through the installation of diagonally cut EPS (“falling Styrofoam”), which Austrotherm doo has been recommending for years on flat roofs as a very efficient and economical measure that is resorted to by more and more construction investors and designers in Serbia as well.
The co-organizer and logistical support in the organization of this expert meeting was a company from Kragujevac DAM d.o.owhich trades building materials and is one of the largest business partners of Austrotherm doo when it comes to the region of central Serbia.
Austrotherm d.o.o. plans to organize and hold such gatherings, intended primarily for the engineering profession, in 2025 as well, and this time the championship will be held by cities/centers in western and southwestern Serbia.
