The outgoing American ambassador definitely cannot do two things: strengthen Hungarian-American relations and say goodbye with dignity after the defeat of the Democrats, wrote Csaba Dömötör on his social media page.
In his post, the EP representative said:
Pressman’s decision announced today can be described with many adjectives, but one word is for sure: he really is a pitiáner.
A great country deserves a more worthy ambassador. And Hungary deserves more respect, he added.
Csaba Dömötör reacted to the fact that, as reported by our newspaper, the Office of Foreign Affairs Sanctions (OFAC) of the United States Department of Finance announced that it had placed Antal Rogán, the minister in charge of Hungary’s Prime Minister’s Office, on the sanctions list.
