‘Pressure to resign, quarantine on coronavirus’ Biden: ‘It’s a red-hot lie’ to Trump

10 consecutive posts targeting Trump
Read as a rejection of the resignation argument

US President Biden has criticized former President Donald Trump, who is competing for the next presidential seat, by leaving a large number of X (X, old Twitter) messages. This is interpreted as an intention to dismiss the talk of his resignation amid the COVID-19 quarantine ahead of the presidential election.

On the 19th (local time), President Biden criticized through his X account, “I had the misfortune of watching Trump’s Republican National Convention speech while stuck at home due to COVID-19,” and “What on earth is he talking about?” After that, he uploaded 10 posts with attached videos of Trump’s speech, attacking the speech point by point.

When Trump said he had “handled the coronavirus great” during his presidency, he responded by saying, “This is the guy who said you should inject bleach while millions of Americans are dying.” When asked about protecting Social Security and Medicare, he said, “That’s a big lie.” He claimed, “Trump has proposed cutting Social Security and Medicare every year of his presidency. If he gets reelected, he’ll do it again.”

Regarding his introduction of himself as “the president who reduced taxes for Americans the most,” he pointed out that “Trump, who bragged about giving tax cuts to his billionaire friends, is targeting middle-class tax increases.” Regarding Trump’s pledge to repeal the electric vehicle mandate, he said, “Trump said on his first day in office that he would end the electric vehicle mandate, but there is no electric vehicle mandate,” and asserted that “American manufacturing is booming under my administration.” Regarding his boast about “getting along well with foreign dictators,” he said, “The reason is because Trump himself wants to become a dictator.”

Finally, he said, “The worst lie he told all night was the repeated use of the word ‘in conclusion’,” and added, “I don’t need to hear any more.” He also attached a link for campaign contributions, saying, “If you agree with me, please join our campaign.”
