Prices on the markets started to GROW!

In addition to the solid offer of fruits and vegetables on markets throughout Serbia, the past week was also marked by the appearance of Kardinal grapes. Market prices were slightly higher for most items, and STIPS reporters recorded price movements in all major places.

Kvantaška market in Belgrade

For the first time this season, imported Kardinal grapes appeared at the Quanta market in Belgrade. The offer of other fruits was similar to last week. Bananas, Ajdared and Zlatni Delišes apples, apricots and nectarines went up in price compared to the previous period, while oranges were cheaper.

A solid supply of vegetables was recorded at the points of sale. Compared to the previous week, the prices of Swiss chard, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, spring onions, bell peppers, eggplants, leeks, spinach and lettuce were higher.

Market prices – Kalenić

A weaker supply and demand for fruit was recorded last week at the green market Kalenić in Belgrade due to high temperatures. Lower prices were recorded for other apples, while blackberries rose in price.

Average supply and demand of vegetables, caused by high temperatures, at market stalls last week. Prices rose for beetroot, cauliflower and lettuce, while a drop was recorded for watermelon, melon, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, parsley, zucchini and greens.

Kvantas in Leskovac

Last week, STIPS reporters from Leskovac noted a weak to average offer of fruits and vegetables at the Kvanta market in this city. Compared to the previous week, we have a drop in the prices of watermelon, black onion, tomato, eggplant, bell pepper, white gradistanca bean and white tetovac.

Compared to the previous period, the offer of parsnips and leeks was better. The prices of other agricultural products were at the level of last week.

Kvantaška market in Šabac

The Kvantaška market in Šabac is characterized by a solid offer of both domestic seasonal and imported fruits. Sales were somewhat weaker due to high temperatures and low customer attendance. The offer of domestic and foreign vegetables was not far behind, but sales were also weak.

The dominant prices of all products remained unchanged compared to the previous period.

Green market in Čačak

Buyers of agricultural products from the area of ​​Čačak could enjoy the richness of the offer and assortment of fruits and vegetables at the market stalls. Compared to the previous week, green beans were more expensive.

Unlike them, potatoes and onions were cheaper.
