Prince Harry reveals the factor that played a key role in the confrontation with his family

Prince Harry has once again sat in front of the cameras for a new documentary, this time about his complaint against various British tabloids for both publishing false information and gaining access to private conversations using illegal methods such as wiretapping.

In the documentary, Tabloids On Trial (ITV)The Duke of Sussex admits that taking on the tabloids legally played a key role in “destroying his relationship” with his family, with whom he has had a frosty relationship for years.

“Yes, it’s true that it was a central piece. But, you know, it’s a difficult question to answer because anything I say about my family ends up in a torrent of abuse from the press,” Prince Harry told journalist Rebecca Barry, who was in charge of interviewing him.

The youngest son of Charles III also insists that he has made it “very clear that this is something that has to be done.” “It would be nice if we had done it as a family. I think that, again, from a service paper point of view and when you are a public figure, these things should be done for the common good. But, you know, I am doing it for my own reasons,” he explained.

Asked what he thinks about his family not taking the same decisions as him regarding the press, he was also clear. “For me the mission continues. But it caused, as you say, part of the confrontation,” confirmed Prince Harry.
