Today the auction procedure has started for commercial non-national radio. Existing and new parties can participate. Currently, the regional radio frequencies are used by stations such as RADIONL, Tukker FM, Simone FM, KINK and SLAM!
Parties that obtain permits will be allowed to produce commercial regional radio for the next ten years.
This concerns 27 packages that consist of an FM radio license and a DAB+ license. In addition, 44 separate DAB+ permits will be auctioned. The current permits expire on September 1, 2025. The new permits have a term of ten years.
The new permits apply from September 1, 2025.
