As he states Beta, FCA Serbia tomorrow will officially mark the successful implementation of the project at the Stelantis factory in Kragujevac, which refers to the start of the production of the electric car “Fiat Grand Panda”.
The ceremony, which starts at 3:00 p.m., will be attended by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stelantis.
The new car model is made in two versions – electric and hybrid. It is a B segment car, under four meters long.
Vučić previously announced the start of trial production, while serial production will start in two months.
The new “fiat grande panda” model is inspired by the model from the 1980s, which, according to Stelantis, marks the return of the Fiat brand to the global market.
The price of the “Fiat Grande Panda” electric model is below 25,000 euros, while with state subsidies, the base model in Serbia will cost around 18,000 euros.
This model uses a unique multi-energy platform and includes innovative solutions such as an integrated spiral charging cable.
