The insolvency process of the popular Latvian online store prof.lv has begun. Anyone who to this day has not received either the ordered goods or money back from him is asked to write a statement.
The Register of Enterprises has registered the beginning of the insolvency process of the company prof.lv, in connection with which the Consumer Rights Protection Center (PTAC) calls on all victims to submit their claims to the administrator of the insolvency process Ayvarsu Salmgriezisu.
And there are plenty of them: PTAC has 20 written complaints from unlucky prof.lv customers, and 48 consultations were given about this store. Many people did not receive the goods they ordered from the store, and their money was not returned. Some of the complaints were satisfied, but only partially.
Now victims are asked to write applications to the insolvency administrator, and there is not much time to avoid being left out in the cold. The last day for creditors to submit an application is December 5.
According to Lursoft, the company prof.lv (whose true beneficiary is Martynsh Ozolinsh) was registered in 2010. It employed 68 people, and in 2022 its turnover was 24.6 million euros (!) with a profit of 20 thousand euros. The company did not provide a report for last year, but as of November 12, the company’s tax debt amounted to an impressive 579.7 thousand euros.
