Bae Ki-soo, former director of Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center, opens in Ingye-dong on the 19th

(Suwon = Newsis) Reporter Park Jong-dae = Kyonggi University Professor Lee Su-jeong (People Power Party Suwon-jeong Party Council Chairperson) attended the opening ceremony of a children’s hospital opened in the community and encouraged the medical staff.
On the 19th, Professor Lee visited the ‘Joeun Neighbor Yonsei Pediatrics and Adolescent Clinic’ in Ingye-dong, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do and congratulated former Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Director Bae Ki-soo on opening a children’s hospital.
Director Bae and Professor Lee have been promoting child abuse prevention policies for more than 25 years.
Professor Lee said, “I sincerely welcome the opening of a children’s hospital that operates 24/7 in the region,” and added, “I expect that this will open a new horizon for essential medical care in our region.”
Director Bae said, “The long-term cooperation with Professor Lee was a great inspiration for the creation of this hospital,” and added, “We will create a hospital where children can visit at any time for their health.”
The clinic that Director Bae recently opened is open 365 days a year and provides treatment until 11 p.m. on weekdays.
Director Bae, who served as the director of Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center and professor emeritus at Ajou University, opened the clinic in collaboration with directors Lee Dong-hyun and Kim Yu-bin, who had been seeing patients at the Pediatrics Department at Ajou University Hospital.
Director Bae earned bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from Yonsei University College of Medicine and served as a professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Ajou University for over 30 years.
He has served as the director of the Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center, the president of the Korean Academy of Pediatrics, the president of the Korean Society of Pediatric Enuresis and Enuresis, and the president of the Korean Society of Nephrology, and is active as a director of the Good Neighbors Social Welfare Corporation.
