ClickUp sent a letter to Russian users informing them that their accounts would be deactivated as of September 12. Customers of the service from Russia will lose access to the company’s services.
The company clarified that users with blocked accounts, but who are no longer located in Russia and do not use payment information related to the Russian Federation, will be able to register new accounts.
ClickUp recommended that Russian users transfer their workloads to accounts of users not located in Russia, as well as export their data.
The service explained its decision to cease operations in Russia by the US sanctions against Russia, which come into force on September 12. They provide for restrictions on the provision of consulting, analytical and IT services to users from Russia.
In addition to ClickUp, many foreign services have introduced restrictions on working with Russian users, for example, Wix and Miro.
