PSG’s delaying tactics on Xavi Simons revealed

There is still no end in sight in the poker game for Xavi Simons. The reason for this is apparently a delaying tactic by Paris Saint-Germain. RB Leipzig and FC Bayern will probably have to be patient a little longer.

As “Bild” reports, PSG is the reason for the chewing gum poker over Simons. It is certain that the Dutchman wants to leave the Parisians and that the capital club wants to loan the attacker.

Nevertheless, PSG is taking its time. According to the report, this has something to do with Kylian Mbappé. According to this, the French want to first present a successor for the superstar who has moved to Real Madrid before letting Simons go.

In order not to make the fans uneasy, the club wants to first end the search for a Mbappé successor and then deal with the Simons transfer.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia or Victor Osimhen from SSC Napoli are considered as Mbappé’s successors.

Simons was already on loan from Paris Saint-Germain to RB Leipzig last season. Both the Saxons and FC Bayern are interested in a loan for the coming season.

However, the “AZ” recently reported that Simons “clearly prefers” a move to FC Bayern over another season at RB Leipzig.

Rose makes people sit up and take notice

RB coach Marco Rose recently expressed confidence of victory. “I am still optimistic that we can definitely keep our top players here because they want to stay here, because they know what they have in Leipzig, because they have made good steps here,” he said after the 1-0 friendly win against SV Babelsberg.

Rose feels that the loan from Paris Saint-Germain is still a Leipzig player. “We hope that the boy comes back. I said: We are still working on it, we are optimistic. And somehow he is still one of our players, even though we have no control over him. For me, Xavi is an RB player, whatever the outcome,” said the 47-year-old.
