In the discussions on the Bill of Law on Amendments to Tax Laws and Certain Laws, the 29th article, which increased the minimum retirement pension to 12,500 liras, was accepted in the TBMM General Assembly. The regulation entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.
According to Article 29, the monthly minimum payment amount, which was foreseen as 10 thousand liras on a file basis for those who receive old age, disability, death pensions and their beneficiaries, has been increased to 12 thousand 500 liras. The new amount will be implemented as of this month.
AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler announced that 3 million 703 thousand 788 people will benefit from this regulation.
After the regulation was accepted by the Parliament and became law, it was submitted to President Erdoğan for approval. With President Erdoğan signing the law, the minimum retirement salary was increased to 12,500 TL.
