Vladimir Putin commented for the first time on the arrest of Pavel Durov in France.
He called the decision of the French authorities “incomprehensible” because it “is selective in nature.”
But all platforms of this kind are guilty of this. If they do this to Durov, then they should do the same to others.

Pavel Durov was arrested on August 24 in France. He was charged with a number of crimes, released on €5 million bail and banned from leaving France.
Putin also said that he met with Durov once in the Kremlin “many years ago.”
I met Mr. Durov once in Moscow many years ago, he simply told me about his plans – I meet with business regularly. And he was also at one of the meetings, it was in the Kremlin, I don’t remember when, but many years ago. I repeat, he told me about his plans for business development.

Putin and Durov did not meet in Baku in August of this year. The president said that he did not even know about Durov’s presence in Azerbaijan during his trip. (RBC)
