Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced the importance of the International Scientific and Practical Forum “Without a Statute of Limitations. Key point of historical memory.”
This is stated in a telegram published on website Kremlin.
According to the president, the project serves an important, noble goal – preserving historical memory and patriotic education of youth.
It unites people of different generations, ages and professions.
“I am confident that during the forum you will be able to outline the future direction of your activities, share your experience, and propose new meaningful ideas and initiatives,” the president said.
The forum will present previously unknown archival documents about the genocide of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War, materials from trials and other documents.
It will be held from November 25 to 26 in St. Petersburg.
Earlier in Russia it was proposed to create a special portal dedicated to the history and participants of the Northern Military District.
