The most popular products for quadrobers and quadrobics on Russian marketplaces in the third quarter of 2024 were blanks for cat masks. Sales for some items exceeded 8-10 thousand units, RB.RU was told in the Moneyplace analytical service (part of the Kontur ecosystem).

For example, the company “Kvadrobika” on Wildberries sold “a cat mask for coloring and quadrobics” more than 10 thousand times during the quarter, earning 3 million rubles. Customers left 4,102 reviews of the product.
The seller “TopMagic” sold almost 8 thousand masks, earning more than 2 million rubles.
TodOnSam sold one of these products 7 thousand times, its turnover was 1.68 million rubles, according to Moneyplace data.
The seller vichor sold the product “papier-mâché coloring mask” 5.1 thousand times, the turnover reached 2.9 million rubles.

Of the ready-made sets for quadrobing, buyers preferred to order masks, tails and paws in black. This particular set topped the top 100 products for quadrobing on Wildberries (according to Moneyplace): it was sold about 2 thousand times, the turnover reached 3.4 million rubles. Also in the top leaders were sets with natural gray tails and unnatural black ones.

Cat masks for coloring and decorating were also the most popular quadruple products on Ozon in the third quarter. The leader was the set, which was sold almost 3 thousand times for 1 million rubles. In second place was a set with a papier-mâché mask, it was sold 1,497 times.

Also popular are kits for quads with tails, ears, paws and a blank mask, as well as cat kits with a choker with iron bells. The top leaders also mention a silver fox tail and fur for decorating a quadrober’s mask.

On October 11, RB.RU reported that in Russia there was a sharp increase in demand for goods for quadrobing and quadrobers. Sales of accessories for people depicting animals grew almost 50 times over three quarters, the united company Wildberries & Russ told the publication. Avito recorded a 12-fold increase in sales over the summer alone.
General Director of the Moneyplace marketplace analytics service (part of the Kontur ecosystem) Sergey Kasyanov confirmed to RB.RU that in 2024, sales in product categories for quad riders increased significantly on marketplaces.
“If we compare the revenue and sales figures for these products for the third quarter of 2023 and 2024, then on Wildberries the total turnover increased by 5 times, sales by 4 times, on Ozon the total turnover increased by 20 times, sales by 35 times,” – Kasyanov pointed out.
“Dubious” products for quadruple riders also began to appear on marketplaces: food and chains of unknown origin. Marketplaces block such offers as dangerous. The bulk of products for this hobby are located in sections for carnivals.
In September 2024, the Federation Council proposed banning the subculture of quadrobers, wrote RBC. According to Senator Natalia Kosikhina, moving on all fours in animal costumes can lead to injuries, including mental ones.
