Quadruplets born in Ljubljana are celebrating their first birthday

Almost a year ago, the Ljubljana maternity hospital announced the happy news of a rare event, as they Milani in Nemanja Petrovićwho already had a son Constantinegave birth quadruple Matthew, Luka in Markowhich are identical triplets, and Jovanwho is their twin brother. They were conceived spontaneously and naturally, and were born by caesarean section in the 31st week of pregnancy. Such a phenomenon is otherwise extremely rare, previously in UCC Ljubljana gave birth to quadruplets in 2015.

It’s their birthday social network Milana’s proud mother also congratulated her and posted some photos at the same time: “Happy first birthday, our dear little angels, may you be alive, healthy, happy and always be as brave and fighting as you have been since day one. The family is at their home in Slovenia just before the holidays, the family comes from Banja Lukathe editorial staff of Jana magazine also visited, when Milana revealed some details of her sons’ first year to them. The children were healthy all summer, so the Petrović family went home to Banjaluka so that their relatives could meet all four little ones. The grandmother and grandfather organized a big celebration, and so the birth of the quadruplets was also celebrated in the hometown of their parents. About a hundred people came, the boys were hardworking and calm, and the parents could relax a little, as many relatives were willing to help with care.

Relaxed summer

Milana, who hardly has a minute of free time at home, was able to meet her friends and have a relaxed chat with them, knowing that the children were in safe hands. From Banjaluka they drove to Crikvenica, on first vacation to the sea. Needless to say, they were a real attraction wherever they went. “Everyone is filming us and wanting to take pictures with us,” Milana laughed and added that it doesn’t bother them at all, because she herself sometimes records a video of family life with her foursomes for one of her social networks, and in a short time she gets a lot of views.

One of the major turning points was when they started eating solid food, because it was a little more work right away, and when they started crawling at the end of summer. The biggest one, Marko, started. It was the same with the situation at the support. Marko is always the first in everything, he is like a kind of leader of a gang of brothers, whom the rest slowly follow.

New quadruple routine

Nemanja’s father returned to work and Milana was left alone with her mother-in-law (or mother, as they alternate in Slovenia) and again the work had to be arranged a little differently “They still sleep all night, from eight-thirty in the evening to seven-thirty in the morning,” said mommy. This way, you and Nemanja can sleep in and take an hour just for yourself in the evening before going to bed. “It’s more tiring during the day,” she admitted, at that time it was still difficult to go to the store. But when it is necessary to go shopping, the grandmother stays at home with everyone, and the young parents quickly do everything necessary.
