Qualcomm Cancels Plans for mini PC with Snapdragon X Elite Processor

Qualcomm introduced its $899 mini computer called Snapdragon Dev Kit, which runs on the Windows 11 operating system and the company’s latest Snapdragon X Elite processor. Qualcomm, on the other hand, decided to abruptly discontinue the product, refund all orders (including those with units in hand) and cease support, claiming that the device “does not meet its usual standards of excellence.”

Qualcomm sends to its customers e-posted “At Qualcomm, we are committed to pioneering leading-edge technology and delivering world-class experiences to our valued customers. Although Qualcomm has pulled the plug on its Dev Kit product, developers and customers are fortunately not missing Windows on ARM devices with Snapdragon X Elite processors.
