Qualcomm introduced the flagship chip Snapdragon 8 Elite, which replaced the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It is made using a 3 nm process technology.
The central processor has 8 cores, six of which operate at a frequency of 3.53 GHz, and two at 4.32 GHz. The GPU is Adreno 830. It supports all modern engines, including Unreal Engine.
The company claims that the Snapdragon 8 Elite is 45% more powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and ray tracing is 35% faster. The neural coprocessor now works 45% faster with AI.
Snapdragon 8 Elite will be installed in flagship Android smartphones in 2024-2025. The first to receive it are expected to be Realme GT7 Pro, Xiaomi 15 and Samsung Galaxy S25. (Videocardz)
