“Bolja zemlja” headed to Obedska Bara to check hives full of bees. But our attention was drawn by honey in Obrenovac – honey from the “Saće Plus” store.
Saša Radivojević, a beekeeper who loves working with beehives, welcomed us to Sać Plus. He loves bees so much that there was no shortage of epithets about them during our conversation. “The bee is such a virtuous creature that should be given all the attention,” he emphasized, “and the production of honey is only 5% of their actual performance.”
Although, even that 5% is extremely high. Behind our interlocutor stood jars of various honeys, which he talked about in detail. There were other products in front of it. “There are primary products such as honey, propolis, pollen, perga, royal jelly,” emphasized this pregalnik. “But honey is so useful that it can be used to make cosmetics as well as distillates. And it is also a natural preservative”.
Honey at the peak of the task
Of course, the conversation also started about forgers. As we have pointed out several times on our portal (and on our YouTube kanalwhich we suggest you verify), beekeepers’ associations have long been calling for the problem of adulterated honey to be remedied. This is not the case only in our country, but also in the whole of Europe, and beyond. Luckily, we tested the honey at Radivojević – it’s natural! And by God, it’s delicious.
It is interesting to mention that Radivojević mentioned the benefits of chewing honeycomb. According to him, honeycomb is useful for the gums, it also helps to clean the ear, nose and throat, and it is also good for cleaning the digestive tract. Honey can be consumed in any form, he says. But it is most ideal to dissolve it in water, because it directly reaches the bloodstream without losses. Crystallized honey is also useful for chewing. And where there is honey, there is also propolis! According to our interlocutor, it is best used when it is concentrated raw, without sugar, in a concentration of twenty drops.
Our interlocutor mentioned all sorts of other useful things, but more about that on our YouTube channel, ladies and gentlemen!
