Did you know that from 2024 there will be more cities in Poland than before? As at On January 1, 2024, the administrative division of Poland included: 16 voivodeships, 314 poviats and 2,477 communes – and over a thousand cities.

Exactly from January 1, 2024, as many as 34 towns obtained the status of a citythus increasing the total number of cities in Poland to 1,013. What will it look like in 2025? A little bit is already known, and the details will be announced soon – after all, there is just over a month left until the new year.
