Radio morning: a real estate company is preparing to go public

Veho manager Keijo Kaasik and I discuss the impact of the car tax on the price of new and used cars and consumer behavior in the morning program. This year, Merylin Rüütel, the manager of Mulieres, a rapidly growing manufacturer of eco-cleaning products, talks about the company’s expansion to foreign markets and how easy it is for a small company to enter Estonian retail chains.

We ask stock exchange journalist Dmitri Fefilov whether it is worth buying Estonian government bonds for children, the last day of subscription is Monday. We also talk about the launch of the Financial Literacy Academy for Kids and how to share money wisdom with kids.

The program day continues with five programs:

9.50-10.00 “Obscure economy”. Obviously, global conflicts, geopolitical crises also affect the underworld business. Among other topics, we will also talk about the work culture of the government and the leadership style of the Prime Minister, and we will find out what plan the Prime Minister will have against the autumn meeting of the European Council. 12.00–13.00 “Employers’ hour”. The economy is declining for the third year and entrepreneurs are feeling the loss of competitiveness in foreign markets. How to turn the decline into growth again, what we have recently from Lithuania, which has proven to be more successful than Estonia, what entrepreneurs and what the state can do to develop the economy, that’s what the show will show.

Utilitas head Priit Koit, Ericsson Estonia head Sirli Männiksaar, Estonian Employers’ Central Council head Kai Realo, Economy and Industry Minister Erkki Keldo and Estonian Employers’ Central Council deputy chairman Ivo Suursoo will speak in the conversation. The discussion recorded at this year’s Arvamusfestival will be moderated by Johannes Tralla.

13.00–14.00 “Service guide”. The CEO of Tele2 Estonia, Margus Nõlvak, said in the service guide program that good people can be hired, but if the support system does not work and there is no investment, it is not easy to achieve good service and it is also important to maintain it.

Another guest, the manager of OKO restaurants, Mattias Põld, gave an example of how a manager should react when a server has difficulties with a problem customer. The service guide program discussed the role of a manager in service and how important it is to provide confidence to your people. They also discussed service processes, establishing rules, the core values ​​of service, as well as feedback to the manager and the use of AI.

At the end of the show, both Nõlvak and Põld share with the listeners management advice that works in the service sector.
