Conference guests from several business areas and sectors will take the microphone. In the interviews, we hear what messages are expected from colleagues-competitors and what kind of business plans the economic environment allows.

Meelis Mandel, Kaili Vohnje, Jüri-Bruno Asari, Alar Anton, Martin Uhtegi, Kai Meritam, Marko Kull, Ivar Sikk and Marina Molokova share their thoughts live.

The morning program dedicated to the economic conference “Business Plan 2025” is brought to you by presenters Neeme Korv, Kristjan Kurg and Joonas-Hendrik Mägi. Stiine Reintam plays the role of news editor.

The day continues with five programs:

10.00-11.00 “Content Marketing Show”. In the show, we talk about which requirements apply to the accessibility of products and services in the new year. The regulation sets expectations for private sector websites and mobile applications so that as many people as possible can use them.

Let’s make it clear what entrepreneurs have to take into account, what the risks are and where to start if the company’s website and its services do not take special needs into account today. Let’s go over to whom exactly the requirements will apply and whether the changes also involve a cost. Madis Ilves from the company AgileWorks is visiting the program and the program is hosted by Lauri Toomsalu.

11.00-12.00 “Financial news in focus”. In the show, we focus on how passive shareholders can identify red flags hidden in companies’ operations and financial reporting.

It is obvious that the financial transparency and reliable management of the company are important key issues for every shareholder. Two experts in the field help to decipher these complex but important questions in the show: Helen Veetamm, auditor and partner of the consulting services company KPMG, and Liis Laanesaar, founder and CEO of the accounting and financial management service company Klaar.me. The presenter is Paavo Siimann.

12.00–13.00 “Excellent entrepreneurship”. The guests of the show are Daimar Truija, manager of Kunda port, and Meelis Einstein, manager of Heidelberg Materials Kunda, with whom we will talk about the future plans of the two companies.

In the second half of the show, you can listen to an interview with Anu Oja, the development manager of Lääne-Viru Municipalities Association, who talks about the entrepreneurship week that takes place at the beginning of October. The show is hosted by Aivar Hundimägi, editor-in-chief of Lääne-Virumaa Uudiste.

13.00–14.00 “Unicorn breeding ground”. To get out of the current slump, the startup sector would need to find a new unifying target, although Bold’s public issue would greatly support the sector, Change Ventures investor Tim Vaino says in the program.

The program will talk about the state of Estonian start-ups, how much money there is in the market and what would help the sector to get a new momentum. The show is hosted by Tarmo Virki.

15.00-16.00 “Top of the day”. The show focuses on the food industry. What is its current state and how do you see the near future, Aivar Aus, manager of the Premia Tallina Cold Storage, Meelis Laande, manager of Atria Estonia, and Sirje Potisepp, manager of the Estonian Food Industry Association, talk.

The show is hosted by Ireene Kilusk.
