In the morning program of Äripää radio on Friday, we talk about the attitude of a large company to the home office, the restructuring of the troubled metal industry, the investment account that escaped the monopoly of banks, and the impact of the Trump administration’s planned tariffs on Europe.
Age Leedo, HR manager of LHV, Veikko Toomere, restructuring advisor of Helmetal IMS, a Pärnuma company engaged in mechanical engineering and metalworking, Elo Haugas, advisor of the tax policy department of the Ministry of Finance, and Indrek Lepik, foreign editor of Äripää, will come to the studio to discuss these topics.
The morning program is made by Martin Teder and Stiine Reintam.
The program day continues with four programs:
11.00-12.00 “Business day on the air”. Äripäiv journalists Kristjan Pruul, Karl-Eduard Salumäe and Kristjan Kurg summarize the week. We talk about Kaja Kallas in Brussels, Donald Trump’s administration, the business ban threatening a well-known company owner, the poor state of the construction market in Finland, as well as Parvel Pruunsilla’s lawsuit against Jürgen Ligi.
13.00–14.00 “The Fast and the Furious”. Tiia Schmidt, the founder and owner of the double gazelle and healthy food cafe Bopp, will be visiting the show.
The management coach turned catering business owner left his salaried job in a large company five years ago to found a cafe offering healthy and clean food. In this way, the woman fulfilled her long-term goal, which was to become an entrepreneur. For Schmidt, the catering industry was unfamiliar, which is why the beginning of the business was rough, but he did not lose his self-belief and now the cafe has become a popular food place.
The show will talk about the creation of Bopp and starting a business, Bopp’s rapid growth and future plans and setting goals in business. In addition, we learn how to juggle multiple responsibilities and roles without burning out. The show is hosted by Julia Laidvee.
15.00-16.00 “Health news”. In the show, we focus on children’s pain – how children cope with it, what are the main causes of pain and how to help them.
Liina Harjus-Soostar, head of nursing and patient experience at Tallinn Children’s Hospital, will be visiting us, who will talk about how children’s pain is assessed and treated in the hospital and what are the modern pain treatment options. We also discuss what parents can do at home and when to see a doctor. Host is Violetta Riidas.
17.00–18.00 “Äripää opinion leader”. Host Indrek Lepik talks to three opinion leaders about topics you don’t want to miss this week.
