Radom Airport Will Allow Space Flights…

The airport is not just a place where we check in for a flight and board the plane. The airport area can be used to organize events or create entertainment, commercial and even educational spaces. An example of such a place is the recently opened educational and entertainment center Flyport by Baltona. It was established at the Warsaw-Radom airport and has an interesting offer for the youngest.

As the creators of this place say, it is a multimedia center where science meets entertainment. Its location is also important – the main theme is aviation and space. The whole thing combines elements of a science exhibition with a place where the youngest, curious about the world, can check for themselves how things work that we do not have contact with on a daily basis – yes, space travel is also possible, because among the attractions we will find, for example, controlling a space rover or other interactive elements.

Almost a thousand square meters of exhibition are divided into 4 thematic areas:

  • Zone From Dreams to Clouds
  • Zone Airport – User Manual
  • Zone Earth, Space and Us
  • Zone Amusement Park

The individual elements will allow us to go chronologically from the beginnings of aviation, through its history, to the challenges associated with space exploration. There will be no shortage of both “down-to-earth” topics, as well as more future-oriented ones that take participants to space – at least theoretically.

The investment, once put into use, will certainly become an interesting point of excursions from schools and others. It is not intended only for passengers, although it is located in the airport terminal. It can also be used by tour groups that do not travel by plane.

The choice of the place remains interesting, because after all Radom airport is not very popular. On the other hand, there is clearly room for such attractions. Radom does not complain about the excess of passengers…
