According to Raik, she does not share Stalnukhin’s views on the Ukrainian war or the Estonian government, but compared to Jaan Toots and Alexey Evgrafov, the alliance with Stalnukhin seemed more stable and reliable to her, reports rus.err.ee.

“The faction will be formed at the next meeting of the city meeting, which will take place on Thursday, November 21. At this meeting they will consider a vote of no confidence in the current chairman of the city assembly (Irina Yanovich – ed.). Stalnukhin will become the new chairman of the city assembly. The coalition agreement states that I am a candidate for mayor. I will not be elected on November 21, these decisions will still take time,” Raik explained.

“Our coalition agreement states that Narva will work within the laws of the Estonian state and cooperate with the government, considering it an important partner. There is not a single member of the Koos party in the Narva City Assembly, but in Stalnukhin’s faction of 11 people, five are members of the Center Party,” she added.
