Rain further to the South and a small rise in temperature further to the North

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) predicts periods of very cloudy skies and showers for this Wednesday, especially in the Center and South regions, which could be occasionally intense and accompanied by thunderstorms.

The wind is expected to be weak to moderate from the eastern quadrant, sometimes strong in the highlands of the North and Central regions until mid-morning.

Meteorological forecasts also point to a small drop in the minimum temperature in the South region and a small increase in the North and Central regions and a drop in the maximum temperature, mainly in the Central and South regions.

Maximum temperatures should range between 24ºC, in Braga, and 15ºC, in Guarda, and minimum temperatures between 14ºC, in Aveiro, Santarém and Lisbon, and 9ºC, in Guarda.

Periods of very cloudy skies and showers are expected for Thursday, which could be occasionally intense and accompanied by thunderstorms.
